Pradeep Mandlik and Kevin Rhodes founded MRIS in 1995 with the vision of creating innovation in the promotion industry. Although manufacturers were spending millions of dollars for coupon programs they did not have sophisticated tools available for forecasting, budgeting, misredemption control and deduction management. The traditional redemption systems had been mainly focused on batch processing with minimal reporting. Pradeep and Kevin created the initial design of Promotion And Redemption Information Systems (PARIS)sm. They designed PARIS to use the latest technology; utilizing relational database, client-server, and the Internet to create the most advanced coupon processing system in the industry.

After completing several consulting assignments for Gage Marketing, MRIS formed a strategic business alliance with a little known processor, Lees Marketing. MRIS exclusively licensed PARIS to Lees and also provided IT and business consulting services. Several major manufacturers highly praised the design and functionality of PARIS and Lees quickly became a major player in the coupon industry. Lees’ coupon volume, which had been under 30 million for two decades, increased to 370 million in just four years after implementing PARIS.

The founders of MRIS have over forty years combined IT experience and over twenty-six years in the coupon industry. Prior to forming MRIS they both held management positions at Carpenter Computer Services (CCSI) where they were instrumental in development of the DOCS II coupon system, which processed over three billion coupons annually.

Constant quest of innovation and excellence, industry experience, and sincere work ethic make MRIS and its people an asset to the coupon industry.
