Pradeep Mandlik and Kevin Rhodes founded MRIS in 1995 with the vision of
creating innovation in the promotion industry. Although manufacturers were
spending millions of dollars for coupon programs they did not have sophisticated
tools available for forecasting, budgeting, misredemption control and deduction
management.
The traditional redemption systems had been mainly focused on batch processing with minimal reporting. Pradeep and Kevin created the initial design of Promotion And Redemption Information Systems (PARIS)sm. They designed PARISsm to use the latest technology; utilizing relational database, client-server, and the Internet to create the most advanced coupon processing system in the industry. PARISsm quickly became a 'power' behind many of industry's most successful coupon programs.
